"Rotational Summer Exhibition"

15 July - 8 September 2003

Schoeni Art Gallery presents works in oils by some of China's most important artists for our annual summer exhibition. The exhibition will rotate more than 200 works in styles from Neo-realism to Postmodernism. Among the artists included in the exhibition are Neo-realist masters, Wang Yi Dong, Zhu Yi Yong, Zhang Li, Li Gui Jun and Jiang Guo Fang, as well as established avant-gardes Zhang Lin Hai, Zeng Fan Zhi, Zhong Biao, Yue Min Jun, Pan De Hai, Shui Mei and Chen Yu.

Works from the Schoeni Private Collection will also be on show, giving our visitors the opportunity to survey Chinese oil paintings in a vibrant spectrum of styles all done within the past ten years. The distinctive styles presented in the exhibition will give viewers a taste of the prolificness of Chinese oil painters.
