From 6^th - 9^th Jan 2006, Schoeni Art Gallery will have a booth at the Art Miami and will be focusing on four of its exclusive and prized Avant-garde artists; Chen Yu, Shen Hua, Yu Chen and Zhang Lin Hai.

Chen Yu has been working with Schoeni Art Gallery on an exclusive basis for over 5 years. Characterised by his linear rows of duplicated human heads, Chen Yu favours his own take on the repetitive balance of Political Pop Art and Rouge Cynicism representation. He is also the younger brother of Artist Yu Chen.

Making a dramatic debut as one of our latest emerging talents, Shen Hua is a promising new artist whose style reaches for ideal - artistic, and personal, both. Articulating an aesthetic that is firmly grounded in an emotive representation of the Chinese proletariat, Shen Hua's manner of expression borrows from the Expressionism era, in terms of motif, technique and artistic ambition. His story is quite touching, in that his family are farming peasants in China, but this never stopped his determination to become a full time artist. At the age of 33 he is still pursuing his career as an artist, and will be starting his 3 years masters degree course at the prominent Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, which the gallery will be sponsoring. His first solo will be held at Schoeni Art Gallery in January 2006.

Living in an age peppered with social reform, Yu Chen's artistic emphasis gains momentum due to its secularised portrayal of the prized baby boy; spoilt and favoured by society. Yu Chen's palette of bright, brash reds depicts a raw emotional quality that is fortified by the honest immediacy of a baby's facial expression. Introduced by her brother Chen Yu, she has been working with Schoeni Art Gallery on an exclusive basis since 3 years.

Inspired by a nostalgic recollection of his childhood in Hebei Province, Zhang Lin Hai explores the literal and metaphorical landscape of memory. He has been working with Schoeni Art Gallery since 5 years as well as a 3 manned museum show in Germany called "Light and Shadow".
